What time can I get into my rental?
- Check in time is 2:00PM. You will come to the office to pick up keys and information pertaining to your rental.
- Late Check Ins: If you plan to arrive after 5:00PM, please let us know in advance and we will make arrangements to have your property opened for you.
What time do I have to leave?
Check out time is 10:00AM. We are sorry but there are no exceptions. Here is a list of what is expected of you at check-out time:
- Wash and properly put away dishes
- Remove all food and beverage products from the refrigerator
- Take all trash out to trash cans
- Leave the property generally as it was found
In the event of an early departure, you would leave keys in the drop box at office.
What if I have to cancel my reservation?
We will make every effort to re-rent the property. If we are able to do so, you would receive your rent and tax refund. Our 10% service fee is non-refundable.
Where is Maine Seaside Rentals located?

We are in the same office as Ocean View Properties.
Directions from the south:
Take Interstate #95 North to Exit 32/Biddeford. Once through the toll, take a left onto Alfred Road/Rte 111. At 3rd set of lights, keep right on Alfred Road. At next light, take right onto Pool Street for approximately 5 miles. Take left on top Route 208/Bridge Road. Take a left onto Mile Stretch Road. At the first bend in the road, take a left onto Yates Street. We are on the next corner. If you get to Goldthwaite's Store, you have gone too far!
Are linens provided?
Pillows and blankets are provided by the owners. You are responsible for all sheets and towels. http://www.cottagelinens.net/ is a local rental service that will deliver linens to your home.
Please check individual properties as a limited number of homes include sheets and towels.
Will there be Television/Cable/Internet at my rental?
Many properties have these amenities BUT NOT ALL OF THEM. It is very important to check the Amenities list for each home to determine if the property fits your specific needs.
What is provided at my rental?
Basic items provided include: Toaster or toaster oven, pots & pans, dishes, flatware, utensils, coffee pot, pillows, mattress pad covers and blankets. There will be a STARTER supply of dish soap and paper goods. In most cases, a charcoal or gas grill will be provided.
What does Maximum Occupancy really mean?
Max Occupancy means the most number of guests that may occupy the property overnight. Many of our waterfront rentals use sensitive waste-water treatment facilities (septic systems) designed for a maximum daily use. We do not permit family reunions, large gatherings, parties, or other occasions at any of our properties without prior written approval from the owner.
What happens to the trash?
Trash is removed once a week. The day of the week varies from property to property. You will receive specific information upon arrival for your property. There will also be a booklet provided at each home with Trash & Recycling information.
What should I bring?
- Beach Towels & Beach Chairs
- Food & condiments
- Additional paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags) beyond the starter supply.
- Laundry soap ( if there is a washer/dryer at your property)
- Plastic wrap & foil
Are there any pet friendly properties?
We do offer a limited number of pet friendly cottages. Please see our website or you may e-mail us.
Is there beach parking available?
Most beaches in this area require a parking permit. You may go to http://www.biddefordmaine.org for information. You may send a copy of your registration and a check and they will send a permit to you. If easier, you may have it sent to our office which we will hold for your arrival.
Where is the closest grocery store?
There is a local grocery store, Goldthwaite's, in the village. For full service there is Hannaford's, 299 Elm Street, Biddeford and Shaw's, 510 Alfred Street, Biddeford.
Do you have a lost and found?
Maine Seaside Rentals will not be responsible for lost items. We will make every effort to retrieve lost items. Lost and found articles items unclaimed after 30 days will be donated to a local charity.
