The architecture is striking and intentional—artistically designed with exposed walls that celebrate raw materials and craftsmanship, the house itself reads as a work of art, designed to be experienced as much as lived in.. Inside, wave-like staircase flows through the space, echoing the movement of the nearby sea. These sculptural stairs act as a centerpiece, guiding you upward through open, light-filled levels. Windows throughout the home offer views in every direction—water, horizon, sky—so that no matter where you stand, the landscape feels close and alive. Sunlight moves across exposed surfaces throughout the day, while ocean breezes and the quiet shimmer of the pond create a constant connection to the outdoors. This house is a premiere spot for birding in this area. The views of the pond (just across the road) are gorgeous from sunrise to sunset. Black Crowned Night herons, Great Blue Herons, Snow Egrets and Cormorants often rest and feed at this pond. Binoculars available. The walk to the eastern end of Biddeford Pool’s beach is a peaceful 5-minute walk, mostly through protected nature preserve and a boardwalk. The house has a great dining room for a large group of people. 4 of the 6 bedrooms have incredible views of the sea. The screened porch looks out over the spacious yard and pond. Resting in the Adirondack chairs after a long day at the beach is a great way to spend the afternoon and early evening hours. There is a lot of light in the entire house throughout the day. The house was built in 1902 and fully renovated and updated in 2006. It has been lightly modernized while still keeping the charm of the 1900s farmhouse. The yard is excellent for badminton, cornhole and other yard games. This home has no TV, but it does have internet. The home offers plenty of bedrooms, many thoughtfully arranged with multiple beds to comfortably accommodate family and guests. Bathrooms are conveniently located on every floor, and additional hallway sinks help ease morning and evening routines by reducing bathroom crowding. The third floor is designed as a dedicated space for kids to play, relax, and hang out, all while enjoying elevated views that make it a favorite gathering spot.
