Most of our properties are treasured family homes. We therefore need to talk personally with all potential renters to assure that we meet your needs as well as the criteria of the owners and their neighbors. It is the expectation that people will treat the rental property as if it were their own.
- With several rare exceptions no pets are permitted and there is no smoking.
- A 7% state lodging tax is payable
- Repeat tenants are contacted in early January and new tenants for all summer rentals are accommodated two weeks later.
- A deposit equal to half the rental amount is payable upon receipt of a contract and the balance is due 15 days prior to arrival. Payments are refundable provided the property is re-rented.
- Each property must be left in the condition in which it was found. A housekeeper is available for each home for tenants to hire if they so desire.
- Sometimes owners prefer not to list their property online. Please call for further information on these properties.
